Wow

It has been a really long time since a blog has been written. I don't know what that means. I know that the last month has been really fun, and has had lots of changes that are worth noting. First of all, Adam and I are both on a tuesday, thursday, saturday, sunday schedule. So we get three days of nothing each week. It is really spectacular. And our buddy Alex also has the same schedule, so we have been having a lot of fun as of late. It's really nice to just hang out a lot more. I'm pretty sure that's why I came here :)
The weather has become really hot. Yesterday it was apparently 37 celcius. Right now it is 32, and will not doubt heat up over the next couple hours. It's so hot it hurts. And walking with bare feet over rock or cement that has been heated by the sun is nearly impossible.
The water has been beautiful since the heat came. There haven't been waves, so the water has been the beautiful blue colour we hope for. It's a little boring, and means we spend more time at the bar than in the sea, but it's still wonderful.
Friday was an interesting day. Three of our vietnamese friends came over and cooked us brunch. These three girls just came into our house, brought a whole bunch of food, and cooked for us. We didn't have to do anything. Really really strange and wonderful. Something I never would have expected.
Our school is in utter disrepair. They are doing renovations, so we are in this small classroom instead of the teachers room, with drilling and hammering going on constantly. It has improved since last week, but there is construction dust everywhere. It should be a better situation once it is finished though.
I just remembered we get our six month pay raise starting this month, so that's nice. And it's also tax season, and I just found out I get a decent amount of money back, while Adam get his tree-planting revenue back. So things are ironing out. Although the computer is acting up quite a bit.
Before I jinx myself I will sign off. If I don't write everything this time, it will give me an excuse to write again :)
